Dr. E.W. Estell Sr., Pastor
Rev. Estell was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He graduated from California State University of San Bernardino, with a Master of Public Administration degree in 1997 and from California State University of Long Beach with a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice, in 1991. In addition to his secular education, Rev. Estell attended Reed Christian College and took courses in Christian Education. In reference to Rev. Estell professional life, he is a Supervising Deputy Probation Officer for the Los Angeles County Probation Department, and an instructor at University of Phoenix. Rev. Estell has been a member of the First Evergreen MBC all his life. He served as a Junior Deacon and a Youth & Young Adult Choir member for many years. Rev. Estell accepted his call to the ministry on February 11, 1991 and became an ordained minister in 1993. He continued as an Associate Minister under the leadership of the late Dr. P.J. Jones. In 2003, Rev. Estell became the Assistant Pastor of First Evergreen MBC. He worked faithfully under the leadership of Pastor Emeritus Rev. W.T. Mills. On March 25, 2012, Rev. Estell was elected pastor of the First Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church and was installed as pastor on May 27, 2012. Rev. Estell realized that he could not pastor himself, therefore, on April 29, 2012: he became a member of the Friendly Will MBC. Rev. Chez Lister Sr. Pastor. Between the years of 2014-2018, Pastor Estell served as the Dean Of Christian Education for the Providence Missionary Baptist District Association. On November 13, 2018 Pastor Estell became the Moderator of the Providence Missionary Baptist District Association. On March 31, 2021 Pastor E.W. Estell received is Doctors of Management Degree from the University of Phoenix. To God be the glory for all of the great things he has done.
